Personality

This description of the personality types was a good reminder of the different ways that A and I look at the world. A is predominantly lion with some beaver. I am predominanty golden retriever with some beaver.

Looking back over the past 1 year and 10 months of marriage, some of our conflicts have resulted from the different ways we communicate and look at the world. As a lion, A deals mainly with facts and is straight to the point. As a golden retriever, I am more touchy-feely and seek consensus from those around me as part of my decision-making process. God shaped us differently and we're learning in marriage to grow and see the other points of view.
