still waiting...

It's been 1.5 weeks since my last post about the house and still we have not gone to funding. In the middle of last week, I found out that the title company didn't accept cashier's checks and wanted money wired to them instead. So I zoom out in my car in the middle of my workday to pick up the cashier's check I had given them the previous weekend, deposit it back into my account, and wire the money to the title company. And wait. And wait. And wait.

We were supposed to go to funding and recording of title this past weekend at the latest. Even our realtor is surprised that it's been so slow. We had told our landlady that we would move out on Jan 31st. We even booked movers for that day. Since the house thing was so slow, we were forced to cancel the movers and extend our lease. I don't like this feeling of being in limbo and not having the move date settled.
