Caught Off Guard

I was caught off guard by God's timing. My high school friend A called me on Wednesday to ask for prayer for her friend, who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Her phone call caught me off guard because we rarely talk about spiritual matters. She is a nominal Christian; but here she is, asking for God's help for her friend with breast cancer and expressing regret over not having a deeper relationship with God. Wow. I just sat there listening to her with my jaws dropped with amazement for what God is doing.

Please pray for my friend A to grow along this path/search for Christ. (For her privacy, I am intentionally not revealing her name.) Please also pray for me, as I converse with her over the next few weeks. Pray also for A's friend Iris, who is battling stage 4 breast cancer. A tells me that Iris's family are strong believers, but I don't know if Iris herself believes. Many thanks!
