Reflections on Narnia
A couple of movies make me cry. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe didn't make me cry, but it moved me deeply in another way. I felt great sadness and remorse when the brave and greatly-feared Aslan died in the place of the betrayer. He gave up his life so willingly. When he walked up the hill to the Stone Table, there was great sadness on his face. And oh, the humiliation he suffered at the hands of the goblins and other dark creatures when they tied him down and shaved off his mane.
I sat there in the movie theater feeling deeply sorry for my own sins that sent Jesus to the cross to save my life.
