Happy Thoughts
My friend Angela used to say that she kept a book of "happy thoughts" to cheer her up, to help her remember the good times with friends and to help her remember God's goodness. It's the act of writing on paper (or these days, on electronic formats) that forces me to reflect and to distill my thoughts into a few words.
When Angela passed away at the age of 21, her writings gave me a glimpse into the person she had become through her battle with cancer. It gave me a glimpse into the deeper relationship and trust she developed with Jesus.
This is my attempt at a "happy thoughts" book. =)
