Update
Lots have been happening. Quick update:
December: We spent Christmas with my parents, Joe and Lily. In the Santa Anita / Arcadia mall, of all places, we saw old, old friends from high school and church (from when I was in high school). There were some friends that I haven't seen for nearly 10 years.
December/January: We celebrated New Year's Eve and New Year's Day with Chris, Bob, and Shally. It was good to see Canaan friends again. My arms hurt from playing "Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games" on the Wii. My hubby made a great dinner & breakfast.
January: I celebrated my b-day with two small groups: one from Newsong and one from Rock Harbor. My honey added to my Sims 2 collection with b-day and Christmas gifts: He gave me Seasons, Open for Business, Pets, and Vacations expansion packs. We played hours of Civilizations IV. We also played hours of Harvest Moon: Magical Melody and Puzzle Quest, both gifts from hubby.
February: We went to The Courtyard for Spanish tapas yesterday to celebrate hubby's upcoming birthday. The restaurant was voted best "small plates" on CitySearch for 2007. The food was yummy. I highly recommend getting the garlic shrimp (shrimp partially swimming in oil with garlic, served on a sizzling plate) and bacon-wrapped dates. The saltiness of the bacon complements well with the sweetness of the dates and the coolness of the cheese dip. Afterwards, we watched Wicked. The Broadway musical is entertaining. We both loved the voice of Elphaba, the wicked witch. If you have a chance to see it, I recommend it.

Happy belated!
How did the tapas compare to Spain?
The tapas were pretty good. The garlic shrimp dish was better than the one I remember from Spain. There wasn't any jamon con melon on the menu, though. That is still my favorite tapas dish from Spain.
