It's so sad...

The director of my department at work announced that he would be out of the office for a while because his daughter has cancer. I don't know how far the cancer has progressed, but he says that he's holding out hope that there's a cure. What makes it even sadder is that she's so young. She's less than 10 years old.

Situations like this make me pause and reflect on what's truly important in life. I hope that my director's family believes in Jesus.
